Tomorrow, all children will sing peace of God

Birth History:

 Pueri Cantores Rukara was officially accepted by the National Federation of Pueri Cantores on May27, 1980. But during the congregation that was held at Kabgayi in 1979, 6 of our members were sworn in and we will never forget this date. Today, 3 of these 6 foundational members are the parents of Pueri Cantores Rukara as they are always with us in all our functions. We will also never forget Father Guillaume Bauza who sacrificed a lot to support our community. Overall, we thank our parents, priests and other clergy members who support us from day to day.

Main Activities.

Our community prays together with other Christians during Holly Mass. We participate in all activities organized by the parish as a youth community and we are always there when the diocese needs us. We have attended all the congregations that occurred since 1979. In order to promote peace to a larger number of people, we participate in events hosted outside the church such as competitions organized by the public and others. We have a football team of male and another of female members. This allows us to often meet other people and we get to share with them peace of Jesus Christ as it is our main purpose.

Members: Currently, we have 70 members; 27 are boys and 43 are girls and only 29 have sworn in.

Location: We are based in Rwanda, Kayonza District, Rukara Sector in Rukara Cell. Precisely, we are in Kibungo Diocese, Rukara Parish in Rukara Quasi-parish although our main activities are based at the parish.
