Specific objectives
- Promote among the Pueri Cantores themselves, the Liturgical Song, from Gregorian to classical and modern polyphony and contemporary music, composed according to the ecclesiastical prescriptions of each culture.
- To promote works of quality so that in this way it is possible to cultivate, by forming them, the directors and young singers from the spiritual, intellectual, musical and aesthetic point of view.
- Ensure the cohesion of the Pueri Cantores members in friendship, fraternity and mutual support, transcending the origins of each.
- Build new global solidarities for the building of a new world: “All the children of the world will sing the peace of God” (Mgr Maillet).
- Animate the liturgical celebrations, in particular by promoting the active participation of liturgical assemblies.
- Encourage the emergence of other groups or choirs capable of animating the assemblies of the faithful while at the same time signing the performance of the Liturgical Song in order to help them pray better.
