  • Birth date: Was born on November10, 2011 and held the first swearing in ceremony on July17, 2014.
  • The founders: Pueri Cantores Bumara was founded by Father Nepomuscène Bazamanza
  • The main activities: The young singers do different activities including helping Christians to pray during mass celebrations and other Catholic feasts. They engage in charity work to support vulnerable people especially the poor, orphans, widows and patients. They also do profitable businesses. Moreover, They have retreats 5 times a year especially before the Easter Party and Christmas Eve and go for religious tours once a year. They celebrate the day of Nyina wa Jambo and Saint Dominico Xavio; the guardian of Pueri Cantores. They encourage others to have retreats often and for singers to vocalize their voices for improved melodies. Pueri Cantores Bumara has so far attended one national congregation in 2017.
  • Members: Pueri Cantores Bumara constitutes of 144 members; 102 girls and 42 boys and 109 had sworn in.
  • The location: Pueri Cantores Bumara is located in the Nothern Province, Gakenke District in Ruhengeri Diocese. It is close to Rwaza Parish; one of the three first parishes in Rwanda (it was built 1903). Bumara Parish is in 91 Km from Kigali.
