The main activities: The young singers do different activities including helping Christians to pray during mass celebrations and other Catholic feasts. They engage in charity work to support some of their vulnerable members mainly. Although it hasn’t been long since they were accepted by the national federation, they have done different activities already. For instance, they had retreats and are currently preparing for a religious tour and they usually do community work. They encourage all Christians to love the Catholic Church; the assembly of believers and this is a duty to every member of the community.
The members: Pueri Cantores Kampanga constitutes of 96 from all places within the parish and 54 had sworn in.
The location: Pueri Cantores Kampanga is in Kampanga Parish; Ruhengeri Diocese. It is close to Iyi the Volcanoes National Park particularly Bisate, Sabyinyo and Kalisimbi volcanoes, where animals like gorillas, elephants and buffaloes. Kampanga is one of new parishes of Ruhengeri Diocese and it is in 4km from Musanze Town and 97 Km from Kigali. Since Pueri Cantores Kampanga held the first swearing in ceremony on August6, 2017, it has attended only one congregation that recently occurred in Ruhengeri Diocese.
