- The founders: Was founded by Father Celestin Mbarushimana after realizing the impact of Pueri Cantores community in the diocese especially in Rwaza Parish and Ruhengeri Cathedral Parish. So far, 104 members had sworn in on different dates.
(3)The main activities: The major activities include helping Christians to pray during mass celebrations and other Catholic feasts. We have a musical school for Pueri Cantores members in particular, an association called” Tuzamurane Rubyiruka” with members from secondary schools, universities and those who didn’t get the chance to access education. We visit all quasi-parishes in the parish promoting peace. We plan to improve our singing to better assist the Christians in praying and praising God. We are thinking of putting efforts in organizing concerts to promote peace in the Rwandan society and Christian community and other choirs will have us as their music role model. We also plan to create more Pueri Cantores groups in our parish and to have religious tours. Moreover, we engage in charity activities such as visiting our members in good and bad times and supporting vulnerable people. So far, we have attended only one congregation that recently occurred in Ruhengeri Diocese.
- Members: Currently, we have 143 members; 40 boys and 103girls and 104 had sworn in. The majority are students in primary school.
- Location: Pueri Cantores Mwange is in Mwange Parish of Ruhengeri Diocese in Burera District. From Kigali to Mwange, there is a distance of 75 Km. Mwange Parish is close to Lake Burera, which is often visited by tourists and others who want to relax.
